Security is the Key ( SaaS Security as a Service )

• IoT is arriving as the result of fast development of mobile internet era .Both internet operators and mobile carriers need to deal with the pros and cons. IoT security is the priority issue ～ open source hackers become main threats

• Open-source coding has speeded up internet development in recent 20 years moreover has minimized gaps among developing countries，Its influence is even greater towards mobile internet as to give rise of quite a few companies which worth million-hundred. On the other hand, it brought inevitable security risks～ IoT can be a bubble without security guarantee, not to mention other IoT security frameworks are exclusive。

Security is no doubt the key to IoT and so many cases have proven that. Security solution is priority concern to internet and carrier operator.

1. Open source created opportunities for many developing countries and companies. But it can all end without security solution. Apple iOS is by far a relatively secure platform but still not 100% risk-free Apple iOS creates a close loop authentication eco system, to identify iPhone Homekit service. Therefore, how to connect with Android users became a headache for IOT home device maker.

2. We want to solve this puzzle and open more doors for IoT users. iSDNA aims to be the security service provider for more countries, more platforms, standard and more users. So far, we already come up with the solution which I will explain further.

這些問題主要在，開源Open Source. 他的好處是，開發中國家透過開源趕上先進國家。

小米/華為/QQ ..。等中國千億級別公司誕生了也是因為開源。未來IOT產業更是有機會創造偉大的公司。但是必須解決安全問題。沒有安全 都是泡沫。而安全很多時候都是封閉的。舉例來說。 Apple 安全認證體系只服務於 iPhone 。 Android 要使用是不可能 的 .我們目前的客戶，海爾、美的都有強烈的安全融合需求。

所以機會來了。 iSDNA 在這找到了個平衡點。並想把他（安全/開放/社群）開放出來與各國合作。

1. 把安全載台開放出來運營。

2. 去融合個總不同的運營標準。(Google thread / apple home kit / Amazon / JD / we chart / carrier Cloud .. )。

3. 更做到 社群，發布/下載/分享。（Note : 類似手機市場，製造賺的是ㄧ筆錢，APP 下載收入又是另外ㄧ筆。這是長尾理論的ㄧ種展現）。

According to IDC research,

the worldwide IoT market will grow from $655.8 billion in 2014 to $1.7 trillion in 2020 with a

compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.9%.

Hundreds of billions devices will be connected in the future.

First, I’d like to talk a bit more about IoT Market.We can all see IoT potential and it is going to be a big pie. But without security solution, it is risky to eat it. Many others are fighting over standards and soon will start cost battle. iSDNA is hoping to add the security formula to make sure the pie is safe to eat. IDG research say , IoT 2020 have 1.7 trillion market 。 Without security, we will be expecting more mess

Current IoT Challenges

1. Security is the priority issue which is what we want to deal with first.

-As most smart devices are made in China, markets are facing low-end (defective) modules and non-maintainable issues and hacking risks. Our current solution is to solve above issues and risks. In the mean time we cannot unite different control platform and IC(application chip) but we can protect assets from hackers’ attack and control.

我們想解決的就是 安全問題。 安全的將家庭/城市自動化與網路聯網與控制。 以及排除 IOT控制器不安全帶來的隱患。 目前絕大部份的 智能裝置都是 中國製造/OpenSource Linux , RTOS , 初期我們沒法統一IOT控制器平台與IC. 但是 我們可以有效的防護資產被入侵與控制。

2. for now Apple is focus designing home automation and daily living scenarios. Such as household appliances can do things upon command: morning~ turning on coffee machine, open the curtains, turn on the TV (CNN) ….etc

我們與蘋果不同。 蘋果專注在 解決 Home Automation 與情境化。把家電解構成單一元素。並融合環境，創造情境。他想幹的事，早安～家裡面會把窗簾打開。幫我煎雞蛋 / 煮咖啡/家電情境化。與家庭運籌化。這也是目前需要解決的。

In the future ~ We want to maximize resource usability and ensure ‘shared economy’ is secure and achievable. To achieve this idea and enable more people can enjoy the benefits of sharing, security is extremely crucial(very important). Such as your household idle Wi-Fi, cars, land line, computer processing (computing ability ) , packing space….can be available to needed outsiders with payment. “Shared economy” is not just a dream when security protection is in place.

有了安全 ～ 未來 我們想使用的是 把家裡的服務能力開放出來。整合類似 Uber / Airbnb 把家裡閒置的 運算/網路流量/電話線 /Wi-Fi/ 數據 能力/免費 或是計費計次的開放出來，極致的網路共享經濟。但是安全都是首要的。
